Imperative Sentences With Examples , Rule - जिन वाक्यों में कोई आज्ञा दी जा रही हो या प्रार्थना की जा रही हो, उन्हें Imperative Sentence कहते हैं। इन वाक्यों के अनुवाद में सबसे पहले क्रिया लगाई जाती है।

इस क्रिया का कर्ता 'you' होता है, जो हमेशा छिपा दिया जाता है। इस प्रकार के वाक्यों को Negative बनाने के लिए Don't या do not के स्थान पर Never लगता है।

Examples-

मुझे तुम्हारी परेशानी बताओ। Tell me your difficulty . 
उससे पूछो। Ask him. 
मोमबत्ती बुझाओ। Blow out the candle.
यह कचरा फेंक दो। Throw away this rubbish. 
बोर्ड की ओर देखो। Look at the board.
 मुझे बताओ। Tell me .
यह किताब टेबल पर रखो। Put the book on the table . 
यह पत्र कूड़ेदानी में डाल दो। Put this letter in the dustbin .
किताब बंद करो और मेरी सुनो। Close the book and listen to me . 
कुर्सी पर से अपना पैर हटाओ। Take your foot off the chair . 
तुम्हारी जेबें उलटी करो। Turn out your pockets .
केक के दो टुकड़े करो। Cut the cake in half .
वह मुझ पर छोड़ दो। Leave it to me .
एक मिनिट रुको। Wait a minute . 
मुझे अकेला छोड़ दो। Leave me alone .
सीधे खड़े रहो। Stand up straight.
( टीवी का ) आवाज बढ़ाओ। Turn the sound ( on the TV ) up.
यह कोट उस खूटी पर टांग दो। Hang this coat on that peg.
जेबकतरों से सावधान ( रहो ). Beware of pickpockets. 
मेरे लिए जगह रखो।  Keep a seat for me.
निश्चिंत रहो।  Rest assured.
मेरी किताबें रहने दो।  Leave my books alone.
वह बटन दबाओ , जल्दी।  Press that button, quick.
लाइट बंद करो। Switch off the light.
नल बंद करो। Turn the tap off.
खिड़की बंद करो। Close the window.
चटखनी लगाओ।  Draw the bolt.

निम्नलिखित वाक्यों को देखिए --

Positive --

दरवाजा खोलो। Open the door.
कृपया मुझे अपनी कलम दे दीजिए। Please give me your pen.
माता-पिता की आज्ञा मानो। Obey your parents.
बैंच पर खड़े हो जाओ। Stand up on the bench.

Negative -  

शोर मत करो। Don't make a noise.
बच्चों को कभी मत मारो। Never beat the child.
कृपया यहाँ मत बैठिये। Please, don't sit here.
झूठ मत बोलो। Don't not tell a lie.
समय बर्बाद मत करो। Don't waste your time.

अंग्रेजी में अनुवाद कीजिये-
वहाँ जाओ।
बैठ जाओ।
खड़े हो जाओ।
यहाँ आओ।
खड़े मत हो।
उसको गाली मत दो।
बच्चे को मत मारो।
यहाँ मत बैठो।
जाओ एक नई किताब खरीदो।
बैठ जाओ और अपना काम करो।
इस कविता को जुबानी याद करो।
किताब से पन्ने मत फाड़ो।
