Describe the Nature of the Lesson Plan
1. The lesson plan presents the previously estimated difficulties and problems in a whole form that may be faced in the teaching of the lesson.
2. The lesson plan is not a blueprint which has to be accepted under all circumstances. Rather it is a guide, an orderly directive, a list of necessary teaching points, suggestions for voluntary activities and the methods to be followed during teaching.
3. The lesson plan specifies what is known to the students previously and what they have to be acquainted with.
4. Bossing has written: "Lesson plan is a title given to a statement of the achievements to be realized and the specific means by which these are to be attained as a result of activities engaged during the period."
5. The lesson plan directs as to what has been done, in which direction the students have to be guided, and which task has to be executed immediately. This is a record of the achievable objectives and the specific means which have to be achieved as a result of the activities to be performed during the period when the students and the teacher are together.
