The Need and Importance of Lesson Plan
The lesson plan is the advanced determination and planning of the activities in the class teaching.

The lesson plan tells the teacher about the means and teaching aids to be used in the teaching work before he enters the teaching work.

The lesson plan determines the specified teaching objectives of the lesson plan, and it provides sufficient motivation to the students in the work.

The lesson plan relates teaching activities and learning forms.
6. Appropriate Utilisation of Time:
The lesson, plan enables the teacher to make effective and maximum use of the time available to him for class teaching. He does not waste his time in the class in deciding what he has to teach in the class and in which order, etc. thus, the lesson plan prevents wastage of time because it provides a plan and order to the teacher.
7. Determination of Emphasis:
The lesson plan lays emphasis on each unit according to its significance and need. As a result, each unit is analysed in its proper context. 8. Proper Atmosphere: The lesson plan helps in creating the appropriate teaching atmosphere in the class.
9. Delimitation:
The lesson plan delimits the teaching work. The teacher knows which task has to be performed to what limit. Thus, the lesson plan limits the teaching field of the teacher.
10. Linking the Lessons:
The lesson plan establishes a relationship! between different objects or lessons. As a result, the teacher correlates different lessons with one another.:
11. Self-Confidence
The lesson plan provides a feeling of self-confidence to the teacher, the teacher is already ready for the teacher's work before he enters the classroom for this purpose. Thus, the lesson plan begets the teacher's necessary self-confidence as a result of which executes the teaching work independently.
