It was the last day of the examination Swami came out of the examination hall twenty minutes early. He felt it was a mistake to come out so early. He felt uneasy and restless and waited for his friends. The bell rang and everybody was out.

There was noise and excitement all over. They shared their laughing, taking and witticism with their teacher Ebenezar and the drawing teacher. The Headmaster came out and inform the students that the school will remain closed till the 19th of June, and would reopen on the 20th.
At the gate, Mani started breaking inkpots and throwing ink at each other's faces. Swami participated with joy in this made spree. The fun went on till the Saligram, the school peon, came out with a stick and dispersed the revellers.
